I'm Loving Bone*Head*Studios

Flora Thompson is the artist behind Bone*Head*Studios. She is a self taught multi-media artist working mainly in air dry clays and natural fabrics to make what she calls "Creepy/Cute" art dolls, all OOAK originals. Her one true passion in life has always been art and she's inspired by everything. As a child there was never a time that she was without a pencil and paper so discovering that there was a demand for the type of art she makes has truly been a joy. She designs and handcrafts her work from "concept to creation." Along with doll making, she loves to write original little ditties/poems to go with her art that serve to tell a short story about the characters. Flora's art has been on the cover of Cloth, Paper, Scissors, Celebrate365 and has been featured in Art Doll Quarterly and Celebrate365. All of her artwork is copyrighted, signed and dated.  Flora lives in the great state of Texas with her husband Bill, son Walker, and two ornery dogs. She also has three older daughters with two of them married with families of their own, all residing in Texas. You can find and purchase Flora's art at SpookyTimeJinglesEhag and Every Witch Way Lane. You can visit her blog and see what she's working on now and sign up for her newsletter or you can find her on Twitter to find out more about her unique creations. If you see something on her blog that she's working on that you'd like to purchase, you can contact her and it possibly could be yours.

When I first visited Flora's blog and saw some of her work I absolutely fell in love with it. She creates very interesting, unique, detailed dolls. You can really tell that she had a passion for her work and puts in a lot of time and effort. I just wanted to share with you some of her dolls below (which have all been sold) and show you just how very good Flora is at doing what she loves. I hope to purchase a doll of my own very soon and I think you'll want to as well after checking out her work. If you check out her blog or her dolls for sale, let me know what you think.

I saw the issue with Flora's doll when I didn't know Flora. I saved the issue, remembering the doll but not the artist's name. Then in another venue, met flora, and looking at her website exclaimed "IT'S YOU!! YOUR THE ONE I LOVE". I still have the issue and Flora is now my dear friend.
